Lars Kristian Gylver is an artist based in Oslo, Norway. He is inspired by nature and its patterns. While I was portraying him, he was working on furniture shaped like beetles.

ISOLATION IN NORWEGIAN PRISONS

The Norwegian government has for a long time received critique for their use of isolation in prisons. The Norwegian human rights institution (NHRI) has also focused on this in their 2019 annual report to the parliament. This video was made for NHRI to illuminate the effect isolation has on humans.

I am 25 years old and currently studying photojournalism at Oslo Metropolitan University. I have always been interested in meeting people, hearing and sharing their stories.

I have a bachelor's degree in nursing and worked as a registered nurse full time for about a year before I started my degree in photojournalism.

I love trying new things, and I am still finding my method and style in photography and video production.
